Introduction: A Quick and Easy Place to Hang Your Coat, Hat, Jacket, Etc.
This is my first instructable, so I thought I'd make something simple that takes less than 5 minutes, just to teach my self how to make an instructable.
...Perhaps I should make an instructable on how to make an instructable??? nah...
Alright then, to begin here is our parts list.
1. A drywall screw. (Easy to find in almost any junk box. Also, any other screw suitable for wood of a similar size will do.)
2. a cheap ball point pen with a cap. (We really just need the cap, and these can be found almost anywhere as well.)
3. A screwdriver. (Larger one that fits the drywall screw would be better. Phillips usually.)
4. A wall that no one will care if you put a small hole in. (A fence, tree, arbor, gazebo, etc. will work as well. let your imagination run wild. ...Just make sure its your gazebo, tree, etc.)
Step 1: Attaching the Screw.
Pretty self explanatory.
rotate the screw with the screwdriver
into the wall about 1/2" or so.
Step 2: Making the Screw Safe for Fabrics
Take pen, and remove the cap.
Place the cap onto the screw.
Step 3: Hang Em High!
...Well really you probably want to place the screw high enough so that if it's a long coat it will stay off the floor.
Place garment on hook.
Thank you for looking at my first instructable!
