Introduction: Null

Robots have already become an integral part of our lives. We are already developing machines that appear and work in a very human way. Scientists research the field of artificial intelligence vigorously. This thesis is about the social functions of humanoid robots in our future societies, technical solutions and in particular the design of such service robots. The design, however, should not merely be an imitation of life, but an aesthetic realisation of human desires. My design is part of a theses researching the design of humanoid robots. Especially the ones used for household and the care of elderly people. I did several design studies and surveys to find out what design people like the most and to prevent them of being afraid. It should be able to fulfill all the tasks a human could. The robot has an adjustable height from 150 to 165 centimeters, is equipped with wireless charging and can move by artificial muscles. The whole project is modeled in 3ds Max and Fusion360. The model added is a reduced verson of the one used for the renderings. I hope you like my design. Thomas Gössler
