AN OLD FM RADIO - SAFETY LOCKER

HI GUYS,
Everybody knows that, where all of their secret materials (money, gold, credit/debit cards) are kept in everyone's home, and thieves are well aware this.
They (thieves) arrives to one's home and easily stole all our secret things from our regular secret area.

To confuse them and also to change our regular secret area into easily unknown by others, I created this instructables and want to share with you guys.

Step 1: WHY FM RADIO ?

Before 10-15 years manufactured products had much more quality and pretty looks than now a days manufactured products due that they gives a life time satisfaction.

I brought one FM RADIO to low cost and it plays more than 20 years in our home, and stops working before a month.
But my mind can't throw it away after its not working because of its design.
It has a casual design even my mind thought to re use it.
It has large space inbetween it's body, so that I decided to reuse it something a new way and convert it into safety locker.
You guys also convert old CRT TVs, CRT computer monitors into safety lockers .

Step 2: DISMANTLING OF COMPONENTS

First open its body by unscrewing it's screws, then dismantle all of its inner electrical components such as speakers, power switch to speakers,PCBs and other components of radio.

Step 3: DISCONNECT WIRES

Then remove all the wires from the dismantled components and also remove all the wires inside of FM RADIO (tuner also).
Yet we have some empty space between radio bodies and we change this empty space into safe locker.

Step 4: CLEANING

Then clean this inner portion by dry brush or dry cloth to remove dusts and rusts from the radio .

Step 5: VELCRO STICKING

Then cut the velcro's one side and stick along inside the radio's body vertically and horizontally.
Another side of the velcro holds the secret things while kept inside.

Step 6: RE- ASSEMBLE COMPONENTS

Then place again wire cutted components in their place.
Don't put speakers again because of they occupy more space from the empty space, so that put only screws and nuts (DUMMY) in the speakers place.

Step 7: MAIN SWITCH CABLE & ANTENNA CABLE

Did DUMMY on main switch cable, to do this main switch cable looks like only cable not current flows through it And also connect with safety locker.
Connect Antenna cable also this way and looks like only cable.

Step 8: THIS SAFETY LOCKER IS SUITABLE FOR

FM RADIO safety locker is smaller in size, so that we can kept only ours smaller secret things such as small amount of money, gold things (smaller in size), pendrives , credit/debit cards and also other secret things that have small size.
Keep secret things inside the FM RADIO and hold it by help of velcro and close the body. Place this RADIO in regular place and Connect switch ...

This looks like one FM RADIO is placed and no one knows expect me and you it's an safety locker with secret things.

Step 9: PLACE IT IN REGULAR PLACE

No one is know that radio acts like a safety locker until you said that.

This FM RADIO SAFETY LOCKER will secure your secret things from unknown people .
