Hey everybody it's KJCuber and I'm going to be showing you advanced cubing. CFOP, is what this method is called. It stands for Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL. These steps are what I use to get times that are sub-20 seconds. If you want to see how I do it, watch the video below. Actually, that doesn't show how I do it it just shows me doing it. The algo for the case above is. z(put top color on right), D' R2 D R2 U R' D' R U' R U R' D R U'.

Step 1: The White Cross

This step is fairly simple all you have to do is make a white cross that looks like the one above. All the colors are matched up to their own edges. Blue to blue, red to red, orange to orange, and green to green. The opposites are orange: red, green: blue,, yellow: white

Step 2: First 2 Layers (F2L)

Now you are going to get the first two layers on the cube. It should look like the picture above when it's done. Look at other instructables on my channel to get the rest of tips.
