Aid nothing to potatoes..place in preheated air fryer for 6 minutes at 350 degs
Step 5: Air Fryer "french" Fries
At end of 6 minute cooking cycle empty fry basket contents back into the empty 2qt pan. Spray potatoes for max 2 seconds with spray cooking oil. Max 2 seconds!!!. Add one level tablespoon of white corn meal ..tumble the potatoes in the pan using a spatula..reload into air fryer. Cook at 400 degs for 5 minutes. NOTE..YOUR AIR FRYER HAS A STAINLESS STEEL RACK WHICH CAN BE PLACED UNDER THE FOOD PLATEN. PLACING THE RACK UNDER FOOD PLATEN RAISES FOOD SO THAT FOOD IS CLOSER TO HEATING ELEMENT. YOU MUST DO THIS OR POTATOES WILL NOT CRISP UP!!!
Step 6: Air Fryer "french" Fries
After starting the 5 minute cooking process..open the machine basket after 3 minutes and vigorous shake it. Spray fries for less than one second. Resume cooking for 2 minutes. The fries are finished at this point..BUT ...check for desired crispness..resume cooking at 400 degs for 1 or 2 minutes continually testing for desired crispness..enjoy
