Airplane Simple Strobe Led Light Effect

This is a super simple project taht you can do it by yourself.

This is a strobe led light like comercial airplanes.

Step 1: Material

BC547

330uF eletrolitic cap

150R resistor

2.2K resistor

5mm LED

10 or 12V power supply

Wires

Hello. I’ve ordered all the parts to give your instructions a try. It prob would have been cheaper to buy a couple of ready made with the prices of things. What I’m wondering is if I want to use -High Power Led Chip, DC 3.0-3.2V 280mA 1W Super Bright Intensity SMD Light Emitter Components Diode Bulb for the led would I keep everything the same and just fit a 330ohm resister before the pos terminal of each led diode or would I have to change everything, haven’t a clue when it comes to the strengths and black magic involved in calculating them not for the want of trying, at least there is people like you to help us.
Hope you can find the time to help me before I manage to destroy too many electrical items.

what part of the circuit controls flash frequency? the capacitor value? resistor value? thanks

Is there any way to control the blinking frequency or its on off time?

Incidentally, that is an interesting circuit. Looks like you may be using the reverse breakdown voltage of transistor for a timer? Could possibly also use a zener diode?
