Introduction: Alfredo Sauce
This is a quick easy Alfredo Sauce that has 4 ingredients and became the specialty of my youngest when she was in High School. If she cooked we had something with Alfredo Sauce on it. Needless to say I always had to have cream cheese and good parmesan cheese, on hand so that she would cook once in a while. Time to prepare is +/- 15 minutes. So, here we go on how to make Alfredo Sauce.
Step 1:
Supplies:
Stove
Sauce pan
Rubber scraper
1 cube (½ cup) butter
1 cup whole milk
1 cup parmesan cheese
8 oz pkg. cream cheese
Step 2:
Put the 1 cup of milk, the butter and the cream cheese in the sauce pan.
Step 3:
Turn the heat on to medium and stir until the butter and cream cheese have melted. (If the cream cheese leaves little lumps, don’t hesitate to whip the lumps out with a whisk.)
Step 4:
Add the parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese has melted, and the sauce has thickened.
Step 5:
The sauce is done.
Step 6:
This sauce is especially great on Pasta and chicken. Although you can serve it on anything you, just be aware that it will be popular. This is what I served my Hubby last night. He had the leftovers for lunch today! Enjoy, he does.

My daughter says it's even better with margerine instead of butter. I will have to try that next time. Thanks for looking.

Out of curiosity, why no garlic?

My Hubby is deathly allergic to garlic. He stops breathing. We do without garlic and onion at our house. Add some if you wish. Thanks for looking.
