paper mache, balloons, plastic table covers, for the "smoking Caterpillar he's made of paper mache then we put a plastic tubing up through the center inside the mushroom he sat on there is a plastic container with a lid this holds the dry ice and you can blow bubbles filled with the dry ice "smoke" they are really cool you can hold them. I found the info for how to make the "smoke bubble on a kids science link. lots of tissue paper for the flowers, and chicken wire was used to make all the different shapes (tree, cat, rabbit, caterpillar...) The bread and butter flies are small cardboard tubes with reg. white paper cut in the shape of bread with cardboard between them and then glued. Crepe paper for the stems of the flowers with chicken wire or regular floral wire for the structure (faces printed from pictures on the web) If you want any more info let me know. We had so much fun and the smoking caterpillar was a big hit. I wish i could have found a hookah pipe to put with him but it still worked out great.
