Introduction: Altoid Pill Box

This instructable teaches you how to make a 6-day pill box out of an altoid container!

Step 1: Gather Materials

Required Materials: altoid box, scissors, cardboard, tape, sharpie(optional) and ruler

Step 2: Measuring the Container

Measure the inside of the altoid box’s height, length, and width with the ruler.

**Tip** It is easier to measure in centimeters to get an even number.

Step 3: Measure the Cardboard

Measure, with ruler, the first piece of cardboard and make sure it matches the box’s horizontal length and box’s height.

Step 4: Cut the Cardboard

After measuring, use the scissors to cut the first piece of cardboard so it matches the measurements from the above step.

Step 5: Measure the Smaller Pieces of Cardboard

Measure, with ruler, the other two pieces of cardboard and make sure it matches the box’s vertical length and box’s height.

Step 6: Place Cardboard in Middle of Box

Place the longer piece of cardboard horizontally in the middle of the box.

Step 7: Cut the Smaller Pieces of Cardboard

Cut, with scissors, these pieces of cardboard so they match the above measurements.

Step 8: Cut the Smaller Cardboard Pieces in Half

After cutting the smaller pieces of cardboard to the exact measurements, cut them again in half. Cut the smaller pieces of cardboard exactly in half.

Step 9: Mark the Long Piece of Cardboard in Thirds

Mark the long piece of cardboard in thirds.

**Tip** Mark every 3 centimeters using ruler for accurate measurements.

Step 10: Taping the Cardboard Pieces Together

Tape the small pieces of cardboard to each side of the big pieces of cardboard at the ⅓ intervals on the big cardboard.

Step 11: Adjust Cardboard Accordingly for Good Fit

Make further adjustments with the scissors so cardboard fits snuggly to the sides of the altoid box.

Step 12: Tape the Cardboard to the Box

Tape all cardboard to the sides of the altoid box.

Step 13: (Optional) Mark Days of Week

Optional: Use sharpie marker to mark days of the week in boxes of pill box.
