Introduction: Always Reset Your Drone After a Crash – Why and How To…

After crashing your drone, calibration can often be wildly off, even if the drone doesn’t seem to have been effected by your bad luck.

This is why it is important to reset your drone after every mishap so that further down the line there aren’t more problems.

Step 1:

You can normally find the reset button somewhere on the drone’s body, this is usually on the underside. However, it can often be found hidden behind where the battery sits so don’t fret if you can’t find it straight away.

The reset button can normally be pressed with a small pin or paper clip.

Get to know your drone as locating this can become paramount should your drone run into problems.

Doing this will reset the drone’s sensors and then make it easier to fly and avoid crashes that may come up from having damaged sensors.

As mentioned above you should get into the habit of doing this after every crash. Often it is frustrating when you try and pilot your drone and problems are still happening even though it looks fine and reseting can rule out most of the hiccups that will occur.
