Just ignore the criticism ..Imagination is everything when it comes to any recipe. Thanks for posting.
It's not bruschetta, but it does look good!

Actually technically it is a variation of it.  only his includes tomato sauce as well. this is what wikipedia has to say about it.:

Bruschetta (Italian pronunciation: [brusˈketta] ( listen)) is a food the origin of which dates to at least the 15th century from central Italy. It consists of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with extra-virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. Variations may include toppings of spicy red pepper, tomato, vegetables, beans, cured meat, and/or cheese; the most popular recipe outside of Italy involves basil, fresh tomato, garlic and onion or mozzarella. Bruschetta is usually served as a snack or appetizer.

So just because it int your recipe doesnt mean its not Bruschetta!

Grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with oil - the grilling comes first, so that the bread is "toasted". Putting the toppings on first and grilling is different.

I agree thats its not authentic bruschetta made the traditional way, but neither are 90% of the other recipes that call themselves bruschetta either. Thanks for the feedback!!! Nice to know folks are viewing and thinking about it!!
Toasted things are always interesting, especially with cheese!
