Duct Tape Dwarven War Axe

A golden axe, fit for a Dwarven lord!

Step 1: Materials

Cardboard

Plastic clothes hanger

Pole of an umbrella

Duct tape: Silver, gold and black

Brown shoelace

Step 2: Ready the Materials

Cut the hook off of the hanger

Trace the inside of the hanger onto the cardboard, and cut it out.

Step 3: Attaching the Blade

Tape the hanger directly onto the pole. You may use and side of the hanger, I used the longest side.

Make sure that it is straight, and not tipping at an angle. Unless you want that.

Tape the cardboard into the hanger.

Try using multiple blades!

Step 4: The Handle

Wrap the remaining pole in duct tape. Make sure it is a comfortable thickness for your hand.

Step 5: Gilding

Cover the axe, blade and pole in gold duct tape.

Either tape carefully to leave a section of silver around the edge of the blade, or you can place a single long piece along the edge.

Use black along the edge opposite the blade and near the pommel, leaving the majority of the handle gold.

Step 6: Finishing

Wrap the handle with the brown shoelace, and tape into place.

Step 7: Done!
