Introduction: How to Make a Angle Grinder

In this instructable I will explain for you the way how to make an angle grinder from simple materials in an easy way by recycling these materials( wood, old disc and motor...).

recycling should take a part of every ones life in our societies even in simple things to improve our world for the better.

Step 1: How to Make an Angle Grinder (video)

Step 2: Tools and Materials

  • drill
  • battery
  • motor (used)
  • gear
  • convenient gear wire
  • wires
  • scotch
  • super glue
  • old disc
  • screw driver
  • screw
  • spongy cover

Step 3: Cut the Wood

Cut three pieces of wood :

  • first one: 40cm /1cm
  • second piece: 8cm/1cm (circular piece)
  • third one: 3cm/1cm (circular piece)

Step 4: Drilling

  • drill both circular pieces in the middle of their sides
  • drill the rectangle piece of wood 1cm from the terminal and another one in the middle of it.

Step 5: Disk and a Spinning Ring

You can got the disc from any store for materials if you wanted new and the spinning ring from a skateboard wheel or from a spinner.

Step 6: Gluing

Glue the spinning ring to the center of the disc.

Step 7: Add the Gear

Glue the gear to the other middle side of the disk.

Step 8: Wait Until It Dries

Step 9: Screw and Rings

You will need an 6cm screw and one steel ring and one plastic ring.

Step 10: Add the Screw

Add the screw to the middle of the previous disk after putting in the screw the steel and plastic rings.

Step 11: Attach the Handle

Add the wooden handle to the screw by using a screw driver.

Step 12: Add the Motor Stand

Add the little piece of wood to the middle of the tall stick by a screw.

Step 13: Place the Motor

Place the motor on the stand and lock it by these locked stripes.

Step 14: Connect the Gear Wire

attach the gear wire between the motor and the gear.

Step 15: Wiring

Wire the switch to the motor an the battery according to this circuit in series.

Step 16: Add the Spongy Cover

Add a spongy cover to the handle.

Step 17: Test It !!
