Apocalypse Axe

The best idea for the apocalypse is a good defense. Otherwise, you are just gathering things for others :)

I made this in the same way you would have to in the apocalypse. You can't go to the store and have to use what you can from your surroundings.

There is only so much ammo, and making it would be rare. Not to mention hand held weapons have the advantage of being quieter and not attracting attention.

Step 1: My Materials

First off I Took a wheel barrel handle

Then some old sawblades

some paracord I had lying around

a bicycle chain

a nut and bolt

Step 2: Planning and Assembling the First Pieces

I took an old wheel barrel handle, and inserted the sawblade then slid a bolt through to secure it.

Step 3: Make a Grip

I took my paracord and made a grip

Step 4: Grip Guard

If a zombie, or anything else you encounter comes along, I thought it would be a great idea to have a knuckle guard/ brass knuckles.

Step 5: Enjoy Your New Security Piece :)

Keep in mind, if the electricity goes out everything can be hand done with this axe.

very easy and essential in any apocalypse :)

works like brass knuckles. keeps zombies from bitting you , and if you get too much zombie blood on you hand, keeps it from slipping out of your hand. I was going to cut a saw blade to go around that part instead but do not have the tools, and was trying to keep it to where it was something you can make without electricity if in that particular apocalypse you do not have electricity. Just working with what I had :)

Against what exactly will the guard protect? As it is not rigid as a guard on sabre it will not really protect against anything, but it will worsen the handling options. Otherwise nice build.
