Introduction: Apple Bread With Toasted Pecans

Delicious red, green or golden apples are still abundant in the market, and if you haven't baked your favorite Apple Bread yet, then you are surely missing something! Grab a bag of these healthy and highly nutritious fruits and use them to bake a soft and flavorful Spiced Apple bread, topped with toasted pecans - perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert, if you serve it with a dollop of ice cream on the side!

What You Need
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups apples – peeled, cored, and coarsely chopped
1 cup toasted pecans

    Thanks Valentra! yes, you can definitely bake it without the nuts, it should still be delicious. If you would still like a crumble topping, just sprinkle some rolled oats or pumpkin seeds on the top:)
