Introduction: Apple Crumble Cake
This is a very easy recipe for apple crumble cake. This took us 40-45 mins.
Supplies
To do this you need:
- 3 apples
- 50g butter
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp and 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup oats
Step 1: Prepare Apples
- optional: peel the apples
- wash the 3 apples
- cut the apples in dices
Step 2: Cook Down the Apples
- put in a pan and add:
- 1tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- mix it together on medium heat for 5 minutes
- until golden in color
Step 3: PREPARE THE CRUMBLE
- grab a bowl and add:
- one cup of flour
- 50g of butter
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- optional: add cinnamon if you want
- 1 tsp salt
- kneed with your hands until it turns into a fine powder (chunks of butter is fine)
- add 1/4 cup of oats and mix it in
Step 4: Prepare the Backing Pan
- smear butter around the edges
Step 5: Preheat the Oven
- preheat the oven at 180 Celsius
Step 6: Fill the Pan
- put the apples on the pan
- spread the crumble evenly on top
- put in the oven for 30 mins until the top is golden brown
Step 7: Enjoy
