With simple components, you can build your Resistance meter and these resistance values can be further used in different Projects.

With simple components, you can build your Resistance meter and these resistance values can be further used in different Projects.

Step 2: Components Required.

Components Required.

  1. Arduino nano (you can use any)
  2. 6.8 ohm Power Resistor. (smallest resistance give accurate results)
  3. 16x2 LCD
  4. contrast Resistor (for LCD) 10K
  5. Terminal block
  6. unknown resistors.

Step 3: Code and Circuit Diagram

Modify the Code with the value of Known Resistance.

Step 4: Success!

    I have a few questions.
    What purpose does the variable resistor serve?
    Can it be substituted with something fixed?
    Would this be good for accurately reading sub-ohm (.05-.80) resistance?
