Introduction: Arduino on Raspberry Pi

Hello. In this Instructable, you will learn how to use your Raspberry Pi as a way to program your Arduino.

This Instrucable has been made for the Arduino all the things contest. please vote this instrucable as your favorite.

Step 1: The "You Will Need for This Project..." Part of the Instructable.

For this project, you will need:



• An Arduino
• A Raspberry Pi (I am using Model B+)
• A USB to Micro USB (for power)
• Keyboard
• mouse
• USB WiFi Adapter (You can use an Ethernet cable if you want)
• RPI Case (Optional)
• HDMI Cable
• HDMI compatible screen (I am using a TV)
• USB To arduino cable
• Micro SD Card (at least 4 GB.) (NOTE: your S)

Step 4: Setting Up Your Raspberry Pi

1: Place your Raspberry Pi inside your case (if using one.) See picture 1A

2: place the Micro SD card inside Raspberry Pi. See Pictures$ 2A, 2B, 2C

3: Plug your Raspberry Pi into your screen with the HDMI cable. See Pictures 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D

4: Plug your Mouse, Keyboard, and WiFi Adapter into your Raspberry Pi. See Pictures 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D

5: Turn on your screen and go to the channel you plugged your Raspberry Pi Into.(you should see something to the affect to "NO SINGLE") See Pictures 5A, 5B, 5C, 5D

6: Plug your Raspberry Pi into the USB wall plug through the USB to Micro USB cable. see pictures 6A, 6B, 6C

If everything goes right, then you will see on your screen you will see the boot screen for the Raspberry Pi. if you see this then go to the next step.

Step 5: Login to the Raspberry Pi
