This year I fashioned a Christmas tree decoration using LEDs, 200 ohm resistors, breadboard and Arduino Uno. I hope you find this project interesting and let the Christmas mood get into your heart.

Step 1: Step 1: Schematics

First LED construction will be multiplied by 3, because we have a Christmas tree with 3 identical parts (component wiring except dimensions).
For the second construction we have 2 RGB LEDs connected in parallel.
The OUTPUT pins are connected to Arduino Uno.

I used a gift box for the base of tree and a wooden plank for supporting LEDs.

I programmed the LEDs to light the Morse message "HAPPY NEW YEAR"
