Introduction: Assembly Workbench

About: Owner of Tiger Island Group, LLC which includes Tiger Island Contractors, Tiger Island Tiny Homes, and Tiger Island Storage.

Here is another Shanty-2-Chic design. This bench is about 1/2" shorter than the miter bench and a full 8' in length. I order some Kreg tools to make this design more applicable to what I'm doing.

I will be adding rails for the Kreg clamps and a woodworkers bench vise.

Step 1:

This step I made the legs. Photo shows the legs screwed together.

Step 2: Legs

Next I made all of the cuts for the frames.

Step 3: Top and Bottom Frames

I assembled the top and bottom frames as shown in the photos.

Step 4: Attached Legs

Next I attached the legs to the bottom frame using wood screws.

Step 5: Shelf and Top Frame

Next I added the plywood to the bottom frame.

I flipped the unit on its top to add the top frame and casters.

Step 6: Finished

Flipped back over and now done.
