Intro: Autodesk Inventor Professional 2013 Basic Wine Glass Tutorial

I'd like to start off by saying that this program is a design software to virtually created different models of your choosing. This program contains many different tools to help you create any object you can probably think of. In this tutorial I'll cover how to create a simple wine glass that I have previously created based off a real one at my house. I choose to make the tutorial on this object because it may complex but it is very quite simple.

Please take note that this is not a free program, as for the exact price, I am not sure. But I do know it is quite expensive. Although, you should be able to get a free trial for 30 days. But, I was able to obtain this program permanently for free through an engineering course at my school. If you want more information regarding the program, you can fine it here.

I may make other tutorials for objects if requested, although they won't be anything too complex because although I could probably make it, making a tutorial would be too time consuming. Sorry. If you have any questions, comments, jokes or anything for that matter, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Without further ado, let's get designing.

STEP 1: Creating the File

In this step you will be creating the correct file to build your wine glass. Follow all image notes.

STEP 2: Creating the Profile.

Here you will build to profile of the wine glass, make sure to follow all image notes.

STEP 3: Customizing.

In this step you will, if you wish, select a material of your wine glass and a color.

STEP 4: Saving

Here you will save your wine glass.

Hi! This is software is actually offered for free to students by our good friends at autodesk. I've recently downloaded the latest version; I still have to learn how to use it though. This tutorial is a good start :) Thank you for this :)

Ah yes, I was aware that this software is offered to students, but I didn't know it was offered to all students. I thought it was only offered to those in the engineering programs. Anyways, I'm glad you found this tutorial useful.

Oh yes, I knew it was offered to students, but I was not aware it was offered to all students. but I'm glad this tutorial can help. Although it doesn't cover much, it shows how the software is used.
