Introduction: Avocado Toast With Bacon and Lime
The bacon on the avocado adds a savory twist to the dish. The extra crispy bacon is a good contrast with the soft avocado, and a squeeze of sour lime makes the avocado pop. I hope you like this amazing breakfast dish!
Whole wheat bread
5 slices of bacon
Masher or fork
Gridle or cast iron
Step 1: The Avocados
The first thing you will want to do is cut open the avocado. to do that take a big kitchen knife slice through the avocados skin and when you feel the knife hitting the core you will drag the knife all the way around the core then take the knife out. Grab the skin and twist the skin and pull the avocado should be split. the take the kitchen knife and stab the knife into the core and take the core out of the avocado then take a spoon scoop out the avocado and put it into a bowl. Then take the masher or the fork and start to mash the avocado until it it looks good and soft and on to the next step.
Step 2: The Bacon and the Toast
The first thing you will do is wait until your griddle or cast iron pan is about 100 degrees and put the bacon on either one. Then set a timer for about three minutes and put a press on the bacon to smooth it out. When the bacon is done and able to flip, flip it and set a timer for about three minutes with the press on. When that three minutes is up take the bacon off the heated surface and put it on a plate be carful it is very hot. When that is done make the toast. And go on to the next step.
Step 3: Put It All Together
The first thing is putting on the avocado on the toast. I used a spoon to get half of the avocado on one toast and half on the second toast. Then take the bacon and crumple it on top of the avocado toast. Then slice some limes and add it on top if the dish to add flavor. If you want, to you can add lemon or salt to the avocado if you like that
