Awesome Wooden Sword

How to make a simple sword with things around the house.

Step 1: Step 1

Black electrical tape
duct tape
10 popsickle sticks

Step 2: Step 2

Take one of the popsickle sticks and cut them like the same way on the picture.

Step 3: Step 3

Take a popsickle stick and cut it with a point, this will be the handle.

Step 4: Step 4

Take the black electrical tape and tie the two peaces together.

Step 5: Step 5

Take two popsickle sticks and cut one in the middle and then leave the other one alone.

Step 6: Step 6

Take the long popsickle stick and tape on with the black electrical tape then use the one you cut in half and put it behind the stick and tape.

Step 7: Step 7

Use the duct tape and wrap around the handle, and use the black electrical tape to wrap the rest of the top.(don't cover the point)

Step 8: Step 8

Sharpen the tip and your done, Enjoy!

I made a life sized popsicle stick broad sword but it is a lot sturdier and it is glued rather than taped. I may make an instructable for it.

Ok, so I mean no offense, but wooden swords are supposed to be sword simulators you use in actual practice. your sword seems too weak and rather short for a wooden sword. I mean no offense, this makes a great cosplay tool, but not really for battles......
