Awesome gun! Is this a railgun?
Reply 6 years ago
Thank you for the kind words! Sorry I replied so late; I haven't been checking Instructables lately. Yes, it is a railgun. It uses a unique system that I came up with. It's an interesting concept; I should probably revisit it some time.

Neat! I will try to make time to build it soon.

This thing took a lot more pieces than it looks I thought I would not have to take apart my crossbow I was working on but I have built crossbows before this is the first bull pup I've ever built, it is kind of pointless but it does look pretty cool
It shoots pretty good for a pin gun overall its a pretty good gun

4 more orange connectors!!!! ARRG! I already built the gun.... but..... 4 MORE FREAKING CONNECTORS!

Wether it is one layer of tape or more, the friction is enormous, I removed it and now it works fine, I'm
afraid the pin will break though.

Does the FP go back behind the stock?
Reply 10 years ago on Introduction
No, the firing pin doesn't go behind the stock because it uses a rail system. If you look closely at the third picture of the first step, you can see the firing pin. The firing pin is the short thing near the front of picture that has tape on it. It slides in rails, so it doesn't need to be a long firing pin. This is a good design for bullpups, because it is a lot more compact than the normal firing pin system.

yes but i dont have enough green rods for the mag and i build the gun... Doh
Reply 10 years ago on Step 2
If you have any other guns built, then you could get some green rods from them. Or, if this is the only gun you have built, then you could try to slim the gun down a little and get green rods from that.
Reply 10 years ago on Step 2
yes i tried but i can not...i build a nother gun insted
Reply 10 years ago on Step 2
That's too bad you didn't have enough pieces. What was the other gun you built?
