INTRODUCTION:

I made baby boots for 1 year old baby . They are beautiful as well as comfortable you will knit it for your own baby or give it as a gift .

Step 1: MATERIALS:

Two different colors of bulky yarn

6.5mm knitting needles

wool sewing needle

2 buttons

ABBREVIATIONS:

inc=increase

p2tog=purl 2 together

P=purl

Step 2: INSTRUCTIONS:STEP 1

For both left and right boots

cast on 28 stitches with color A yarn

Step 3: STEP:2

Row 1:purl all

Row 2:purl all

Row 3: P3, inc1, P11, inc1, P11,inc1,P3

Row 4:purl all

Row 5: P4, inc1, P12, inc1, P11, inc1, P4

Row 6:purl all

Row 7: P5, inc1, P12, inc1, P12, inc1, P5

Row 8:purl all

Row 9: P3, inc1, P16, inc1, P15, inc1, P3 [40 stitches in total]

Step 4: STEP:3

Now join color B yarn

Row 10:purl all

Row 11:purl all

Join color A yarn

Row 12:purl all

Row 13:purl all

Join color B

Row 14:purl all

Row 15: P12, p2tog, p2tog, p2tog, p2tog, p2tog, p2tog, p2tog, p2tog, P12 [32 stitches]

Row 16:purl all

Row 17: P10, Bind off 12 stitches, P10

Step 5: FOR LEFT BOOT:left Side:

Row 1:purl all

Row 2:purl all

Row 3:purl all

Row 4:purl all

Row 5:bind off all 10 stitches

Step 6: FOR LEFT BOOT :right Side

inc 10 stitches on right side then,

Row 1:purl all

Row 2:purl all

Row 3:purl all

Row 4:purl all

Row 5: bind off all the 20 stitches

Step 7: FOR RIGHT BOOT:left Side

Row 1:purl all and inc 10 stitches

Row 2:purl all

Row 3:purl all

Row 4:purl all

Row 5:bind off all the 20 stitches

Step 8: FOR RIGHT BOOT:right Side

Row 1:purl all

Row 2:purl all

Row 3:purl all

Row 4:purl all

Row 5:bind off all the 10 stitches

Step 9: FINISHING

Now sew the side and bottom of boot and attach the buttons.

THE BEAUTIFUL BABY BOOTS ARE READY NOW.
