Introduction: Back to School: Pineapple Crayons

Welcome back everyone. I will be starting my Back to School instructables. Today I will be showing how to make pineapple crayons. This project is for all ages but if you are under the age of five please have a parent's supervision since we will be using a microwave. This project is so much fun for kids because it makes going Back to School sound fun. This project is cheaper and so much more cuter than the crayons you buy from the store. I hope you have fun make this easy project.

Step 1: Supplies You Will Need

As I told you this project is pretty easy all you need are 5 things.

The supplies you will need are:

  • Pineapple Mold
  • Crayons
  • Freezer
  • Microwave
  • Microwave Safe Container

Step 2: Step 1

The first step is to melt the crayons you want. My recommendation to remove the crayon wrapper flawlessly is to soak it in warm water for a few minutes, then peel. Take your microwave safe container and put chopped up pieces of crayon in it. Melt the crayons for as long as needed.

Step 3: Step 2

The second step would be to pour the melted crayons in the mold. Take your mold with the melted crayons and stick it inside your freezer. This will advance the cooling process of the melted crayons.

Step 4: Step 3

Lastly take your mold out of the freezer. If you have a silicone mold, just pop the crayons out. If you don't have a silicon mold but a plastic mold just tap against a hard surface to get out.

Step 5: Conclusion

There you go. You now have the most creative and unique crayons in the school. If you don't have a pineapple mold you can use any to your availability, an ice cube tray works to. I would recommend a silicon mold. Warning, make sure you don't use the mold purposes after the project. I hope you liked my first Back to School instructable.
