Introduction: Baked Bread Gulab Jamun

-want to enjoy something sweet and have some left over bread at home.U can prepare these instant wheat bread gulab jamuns.these are delicious and prepared with very few ingredients.these are healthy too as we are baking instead of frying.

Ingredients required:

-7 bread slices

-little milk

-1 cup sugar

-1cup water

-few tbsp oil

For Garnishing:

-few raisins,almonds

- crushed cardamom

Step 1: Procedure

-First cut the edges of bread slices

-Immerse the bread slices one by one in milk .

-squeeze excess milk from the bread

-knead in to a soft dough.

-Dont knead too hard and for a long time

- Apply little oil on your palm and make round balls out of it

-keep aside.

Step 2: Preparing Sugar Syrup:

-Take a vessel and add 1 cup water to it.

-Add 1 cup of sugar and bring to boil.

-Add cardamom powder to it.

-Wait for 5-10 mins.

Step 3: Baking Bread Balls:-

-preheat the oven to 150 degrees.

-Grease the parchament paper with oil and place on the baking tray

-Apply little oil on the balls with brush and place on the baking tray

-Flip the balls continuosly in between turning all sides so that they change in to brown color.

-Bake for 15 to 20 mins.

Step 4: Garnishing:

-Now transfer the jamuns into warm sugar syrup.

-soak for 4 to 5 hours.

-Garnish with almonds and raisins and enjoy.
