Introduction: Crazy Good Barbecue Sauce Made With Coffee
This is a really easy sauce recipe. Don't let the simmer time (or the coffee!) put you off. It is worth the time and the coffee adds a richness that might surprise you.
Step 1: Ingredients
1 cup strong black coffee
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 Tbsp chili powder
2 tsp. salt
4 minced jalapeno peppers, seeds removed
4 cloves minced garlic
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup brown sugar
Step 2: Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes. Puree in batches in blender or food processor. Return to saucepan and simmer for another 20 minutes to thicken.
This Barbecue Sauce is great on beef, pork or chicken!

3/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce. Is that correct? Seems like a lot. As a fairly strong flavor, it seems like it might overwhelm the other ingredients.

I agree it seems like a lot, but there are a lot of other strong flavors there. It does not overwhelm those flavors at all. Try it! I promise it is awesome!!!
