Basic Knife

This is pretty basic.

1. Find a palm sized piece of spring metal
2. Heat in forge and shape as desired
3. Let cool and sand
4. Drill pin holes through blade and wooden scales
5. Assemble using epoxy
6. Work handle until comfortable
7. Insert brass pins with ball-peen hammer
8. Apply linseed oil, lacquer or wax to handle and polish

I hadn't thought about the handle being worked after being attached. That makes a lot more sense. Thanks!

You're right. It was a rough job and I didn't take a lot of pictures. I'll make some more soon and put up some more pictures.
