Intro: Battery Testing Helper- Magnetic Parts Tray

I frequently find myself sorting the good from the bad batteries with my digital multimeter. This usually has me doing the Mr. Miyagi rolling-battery-chopsticks-challenge.

If you have a magnetic parts tray near by, stand up those batteries, use an alligator clip to attach a ground to the edge and you can test your batteries one handed!

This should work for most battery styles (even coin-style). Just be careful not to short anything out!
