Introduction: Bay Window Seating (Diner Style)
Bay Window Seating (Diner Style)
Step 1: 1
An underused bay window space. I disliked having to keep unfolding chairs and table every time I wanted to sit and the seating really didn't go well with the room.
Step 2: 2
Built frames from scrap wood. Anchored to the wall and panelled with off-cuts of MDF.
Step 3: 3
Table top is an old Ikea coffee table and the leg was purchased from Ikea for £2.40.
Seats and backs are off-cuts of MDF I had in the shed.

Step 4: 4
Top and seating was covered in D-C Fix sticky back plastic. Heat resistant and ideal to cover the plain white MDF.
Step 5: 5
Now a great place to sip coffee and watch the world go by outside my window.
I will change the pads for proper padded seating at some point.
