Beautiful Leather Key Hanger

Small leather storage pouch with key hanger. You will never lose your keys again.

Supplies

You will need a riveter to install the hooks and a snap installer for the snaps. Both tools purchased at Harbor Freight tools.

Step 1:

You will need a small piece of thick leather. I had a scrap piece of about 8.5 in by 6.5 in. It made a small size pouch that does not fit my Samsung phone.

Step 2:

Decide where to install the snaps so when you fold the leather in half it will create a pouch.

Notice that the distance between the female snaps is smaller than the distance between the male snaps, this will create a pouch when you snap them together.

Step 3:

Determine how you will mount it to the wall. In my case, I made two holes on the back of the pouch to match two existing holes in my wall.

Step 4:

I found this picture hangers at Lowes. I noticed the hangers already had a hole so I decided to use rivets to attached the hooks to the leather.

To add decoration, I also added an old concho I had.

I also used boot leather cream to buff the leather to make it look nice.

Step 5:

Final product looks good.
