Introduction: Best Chicken Salad I Ever Made

About: I live with my wife and children in Fort Worth, TX. We enjoy day-trips and junk stores. I'm a firm believer that homemade food tastes better and I love to try new recipes. When I can, I like to head out to the…

Chicken salad. Simple. Easy. Boring.....

The following recipe is my own spin on this classic lunch staple. I truly believe that is, in fact, THE BEST CHICKEN SALAD I EVER MADE!

As always, thanks for reading.

Supplies

1 cup diced chicken (in this case, leftover seasoned chicken thighs)

1 diced apple

2 tsp. finely chopped white onion

1 TBSP dried chopped cranberries

2 TBSP Miracle Whip (also known as salad dressing)

3 TBSP mayonnaise

1 TBSP sunflower seeds

1 tsp black pepper

-optional- 1 TBSP finely chopped bacon

Step 1: Mix It. Toast It.

Place all you ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Toast your bread of choice (i used wheat sandwich bread)

Step 2: Put It Together and Eat It

It's that simple. Put your chicken salad on your bread and eat it. If your don't want bread, eat it on a cracker, or a lettuce leaf, or just a spoon. Just eat it.

I hope y'all enjoy this version of chicken salad as much as I do.

NOTE; SORRY ABOUT THE POTATO QUALITY PICTURES. MY CAMERA LENS WAS A BIT SMUDGED.
