Introduction: Bike Gear Picture/Card Holders

This is a short instructable on how to make a picture holder or business card holder out of old bike gears.
Step 1: Parts

Old bike gears
Tools:
Pliers
Vice
Welder OR JB Weld

Step 2: Do It
So just use your imagination and bend some gears until they brake and fit em' together and see how it works out.
To break the gears, I put them in a vice and worked them back and forth with some pliers. They break really
quickly.
If you like how it looks either weld it up or JB weld it up!
But when you are done, rough them up with some scotch brite or a wire brush then clear coat them so they look nice. I used a "satin" clear coat and I think it looks nice on them.
On the "bent" one I stuck a piece of bike chain on the back side so the cards would sit up a little more vertically.
Have fun.
