Bird Cage

Introduction: Bird Cage

About: Graphic designer - DIY enthusiast

This was a very old project so the steps here are very short, sorry for that. But it may give an idea for someone wants to make a bird cage.

P.S: These kind of cages are not suitable for birds with curved beak. Because of the construction material, they can easily break some parts. These cages are good for birds with flat beak like on canaries.

Step 1: Building The Frame

Step 2: Drawer - Lights (exceptional)

Step 3: Building the cage

Step 4: Painting the first coat

Step 5: Some touch-ups

Final: Ready to settle.

Step 1: Building the Framework

Mainly I've used wooden laths

Step 2: Drawer - Lights (exceptional)

With a lighting, it looks way better.

Step 3: Building the Cage

It's time to use small wooden sticks.

Step 4: Painting

I've mainly used wood protectors for this step.

Step 5: Final Product

Our canaries have lived there happily for a long time :(

Thanks for your comment, it's motivating. I had to disassemble it last summer, unfortunately :/
