Introduction: Birthday Cake Frappuccino Recipe
Starbucks' Birthday Cake Frappuccino was introduced a year ago for Starbucks' 20th Anniversary. It's a pretty tasty caffeine-free frappuccino that mixes vanilla and hazelnut and is topped with a raspberry whipped cream. Because of its popularity, they decided to offer it up again this year!
I'm usually not much of a fan of hazelnut, but it seems to work really well in this frappuccino! Add some sprinkles to make this drink even more fun!

Step 1: Supplies
This recipe is a single serving and makes about the equivalent of a 16oz Grande from Starbucks.
Ingredients:
- 2c ice
- 3/4c milk / or / Half&Half / or / Whipping Cream etc.
- 2 tbsp/pump Hazelnut Syrup (use 3tbsp if you like, but don't go overboard with this flavor)
- 3-4 tbsp/pump Vanilla Syrup
- 1 tbsp simple syrup (more if you like it sweet)
- Pinch of Xantham Gum (optional)
- Cake Sprinkles (optional)
Caffeinated Version
Replace 1/4 cup of the milk with Strong Coffee
Topping Suggestions:
- Whipped topping
- Raspberry Whipped Cream
- Cake Sprinkles
Utensils:
- Blender
- Ice cube trays - small ice cubes make for even easier blending
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Cups for serving
- Straws - I'm a fan of reusable ones; these pink polka-dot ones are cute too!
Step 2: Mix
Mix everything together and blend well. If you are going to add sprinkles, don't put them in until your drink is blended. When you add the sprinkles, just stir it up. If you blend it, you might break them up.
Add your toppings! I went with my homemade raspberry whipped cream and more cake sprinkles!
Step 3: Enjoy
Isn't it cute! Top it with a candle if you want to actually use it for someone's birthday :) Though, I don't know if you are going to want to actually light it.
