Blizzard Condition Survival Kit

(for your car)

1. You need some kind of kit for your vehicle during the winter season.

2. First thing you are going to need is a snow shovel to get snow away from your vehicle.

3. Second thing you are going to want to do is get some kind of traction material to put under your tires.

a. Best sources: kitty litter, road salt, pea gravel or some kind of traction plating to lay under your tire

4. Get something to melt snow and ice with.

a. Road salt, Candle and matches/lighter (make sure you have a long energy source and not just a pack of matches or lighter for it takes a while to get the snow and ice to melt.

5. If you can not get out then you need food so be sure to store some candy bars or high calorie foods in the car.
