Introduction: Blow Dart
This is an incredibly effective blow dart, its pretty fast to make and flies beautifully.
Step 1: Materials
All you need for this is a piece of a milk carton, a lighter, a nail, and something to mold it on, I found that a highlighter case makes a great dart for 3/4" pvc.
Step 2: Melt the Jug
You want to make the milk jug material go see through, slowly move the piece above the flame, dont let the flame touch it.
Step 3: Form the Tail
Push the see through area over the highlighter tube, be careful not to break the jug material.
Step 4: Cut Out the Tail.
Cut around the bottom of the mold.
Step 5: Insert the Nail
Push the nail through tail.

I like this method, but after using the darts a bit, the plastic actually tore on multiple darts... is there any way to make it stronger? different plastic maybe?

I use to make darts this way years ago except for two things. Both I believe to be an improvement. The first is using the pointy end of a plumb bob. either the brass or the steel ones work because of the perfect cone shape. the second thing is we used spokes from old bicycle wheels. they can be sharpened to the extreme and they can be longer.
