Introduction: Bubble Pattern Easter Egg

About: I am a college student who loves inventing and creating. I like to do innovative and inexpensive projects.

I was experimenting, and I discovered this cool method of dying Easter eggs. All you need is Easter egg dye, dishwasher soap, and a straw.

Step 1: Prepare Solution

Pour 1/2 inch of dye (darker colors work best) and 1 squirt dish soap in a cup.

Step 2: Add Egg and Blow Bubbles

Place hard-boiled egg in cup and blow bubbles with the straw until the egg is covered. (don't drink it)

Step 3: Drip Extra Dye on Top

The dye will drain off the egg in a couple of seconds, so more is needed to produce a stain. Drip extra dye with a spoon or dropper onto the bubbles, taking care not to pop them. Keep dripping for about 1 minute.

Step 4: Finishing

Scoop the egg out of the cup with a spoon and pat it dry with a paper towel. Allow to dry completely, and you're done!

Some of the dye colors did not work as well. If it doesn't seem to be working, try another color.
