Intro: Bubble Pizza

This dish is sure to be a favorite for casual and fun nights. Combining the ease of ready-to-cook biscuits with the favorites of pizza toppings, the "bubbles" of pizza dough throughout this dish mix with the cheese, sauce, and meats in a mouth-watering, easy to prepare meal. It is even kid and husband friendly!

This recipe serves approximately 8 people.

STEP 1: Ingredients

2 tubes refrigerated, ready-to-cook biscuits
15-16 ounce can or jar of pizza sauce.
1 pound hamburger
1 3.5 ounce package of pepperoni slices (approximately 50 slices)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
8 ounces shredded cheddar
8 ounces shredded mozzarella

1 9x13 pan
Grease or nonstick spray

STEP 2: Food Prep

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Separate and quarter all of the biscuits. Place them into a large mixing bowl.

Quarter all of the pepperoni slices. Add them to your mixing bowl.

Brown and drain the hamburger. Add it to your mixing bowl.

Grease or spray your 9x13 pan.

STEP 3: Bake, Add Cheese, Bake More

Bake the dish for approximately 25 minutes. The biscuits should have risen a bit and feel firmer to the touch than a raw biscuit.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top of the pizza. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until all the cheese is thoroughly melted.

Enjoy!

STEP 4: Add and Mix Ingredients

Add your sauce, the minced garlic, and half of the cheddar to your mixing bowl. Mix everything in the bowel together thoroughly.

Spoon the mixture into your prepared 9x13 pan. Spread evenly into the pan.

Looks like my kind of winter meal. I can't wait to try it with ground hart. Great for winter camping too.
I'm glad you're only using a homophone for 'heart' :D Otherwise that could have been pretty creepy! Thanks for enjoying.
Looks really tasty and satisfying! I'll bet you could also do a nice breakfast pizza along these lines.
Ooh, fantastic idea. I will give it a try!
This looks seriously tasty. I'll definitely need to try it!
Thanks! Let me know how it goes!
As a forigner from across the pond, this looks awesome. However I have never really worked out what the hell a biscuit is? Any hints on how I can try this in Blighty?
North American buscuits = UK scones.
Oops, typo.

Should have said biscuits = scones.
I assume you just leave out the sugar (the family recipie book has 3 tbps of caster sugar in it)?

Otherwise it sounds easy, I just need the right night to make it. Cheers!
Ooh, thanks for letting us know!
Luckily for you biscuits are super easy! We use a lot of pre made dough from the refrigerated section at our super markets, but given you only need three or four ingredients, I have no idea why. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/easy-biscuits/
A biscuit here is just a small portion of a risen bread. Usually kind of flaky (though not always!). You can use bite size pieces of bread dough, or frozen pre-made dough. Basically any bread product which will rise a bit in the oven, in small enough chunks to mix with everything else reasonably well.

Let me know how it goes for you and what adaption you made!
Pizza Casserole! Great job Mistyp... and it's nice to see you back!!! ;-)
Thanks!

I am making it a tradition to always post at least one Valentines tutorial, so I'll always be back around this time of year :-D
Yegads, this sounds, ad looks, amazing!

I think I will try this (will half the recipe to try it).

You didn't mention the pizza sauce in the description (unless I missed it), but it just gets mixed in with everything else, right?
Good catch! Yes, you add the sauce in with everything else. I added that into step 3--thanks for noticing.

Let me know how it goes! Even though we just made (and consumed) this over the weekend, making the instructable made me crave it so I went and bought supplies to make it again later this week :-D It really is yummy.
