Intro: Butterfinger Bars

Delicious Butterfinger Bars

STEP 1: Ingredients

2/3 C Soft Butter

1/2 C Brown Sugar

1 1/3 C Flour

1 C Sugar

1 C White Corn Syrup

6 Oz Butterscotch Chips

1 1/4 C Creamy Peanut Butter

3 C Corn Flakes

6 Oz Chocolate Chips

STEP 2: Crust Ingredients

For the crust...

2/3 C Soft Butter

1/2 C Brown Sugar

1 1/3 C Flour

STEP 3: Filling Ingredients

For the filling...

1 C Sugar

1 C White Corn Syrup

6 Oz Butterscotch Chips

1 1/4 Creamy Peanut Butter

3 C Corn Flakes

STEP 4: Step 4: Preheat and Mix Crust.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix crust with fork.

STEP 5: Pat, Bake, and Cool

Pat into 13x9 pan.

Bake 12-15 minutes.

Cool completely

STEP 6: Boil

Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil in large pan, remove from heat.

Then add remaining ingredients - chips and peanut butter first.

STEP 7: Add Corn Flakes

STEP 8: Spread

Spread mixture over crust.

STEP 9: Frosting

Top with chocolate chips

---- 1 to 2 minutes in oven will soften them enough to spread.
