Introduction: BuzzBee Rangemaster Mod

I wanted a WW2 Carbine/Rifle that i could use on Apoc LARP.

There are non to buy that i liked, so i created one.

So i opened the Rangemaster i had purchased and the internals where ok.

The Rapidstrike on top is only for size comparison.

First i thought a singlefire would be ok, but later i discovered the endles posibilitys of RSCB and Inlineclips.

Due to the space shortage in the actual riflestock i decided for a inline clip.

The clip is about 2 1/2 elites long an d takes 2 Elites or 6 shortened darts.

The barrel is about 22cm long and from 17/32 brass.

Step 1:

The Stock was sitting in my basement for years and i tried the rangemaster intenals and they fittet in pretty good.

Step 2:

The pumphandle needet to be placed closer to the handle, so i cut it away and bend it to match my stock.

Step 3:

i needet a trigger and something to hold the release, so i build it out of plastic sheets.

Step 4:

Next was the visor and the cover for the breach, so i built a holder für the original visor out of pvc card.

Step 5:

The brass barrel was a bit thin and brass is hard to paint durable, so i made a cover from pvc.

i also build the second part of the visor.

Step 6:

Last step was a release with some springs.

The actual release is on the left side, the right side is open.

So if you unlock the system and pump, the valve can move free on the right side.

As soon as you lock the system and close the breach the valve moves to the left side and the release can press the valve.

Step 7:

This is how it looks now.

Ranges are betwen 20-25m.

You could fit a rangemaster pump and some brass barrels in allmost every ww2 stock.

Garant M1, Nosin Nagant, Lee Enfield, what ever...

Thanks for watching!

Here is the video of it working.

And how the trigger works.
