Introduction: CUPCAKES IN a FAIRY CASTLE

I hope this project can help you make simple cupcakes something special.  The mini cupcakes are devil food cakes.

THE CASTLE CUPCAKE STAND

The castle cupcake stand is about 3 feet tall.  It is quite sizable and dramatic.   It can hold regular size cupcakes too.

I made the structure for this cupcake stand mostly out of recycled materials.  I think I spent about $5 for new materials.

The towers are made of toilet paper tubes covered in craft paper.
The roofs for the towers are made of quarter round cardboards.  The cupcake stand has 4 tiers.
The tiers are 4 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches, and 15 inches.
They are made of recycled cardboard boxes covered with shelf liner, so it can be easily cleaned up.
The center support is made of empty tin cans.
The walls at the base are made of recycled pizza boxes.
The six walls together makes  up hexagonal structure.

I hope you will love this project and I hope it will make some kids very happy!!!
