Introduction: Camp Chair

Fancy gizmos and gadgets tend to breakdown after a couple of days so its good to make a camp chair using solid wood. Why spend $50 on a piece of plastic when you can have this:

All you need is two pieces of timber, each about 40 cms long.

We found ours at the camp site as the tide had brought them in.

Supplies

Two piece of timber, about 40 cm long.

Step 1: Pre-assembled

Here the chair is unassembled. Like a piece of Ikea furniture.

Step 2: Assembled

Here the chair is assembled.

To Assemble:

  • Place one piece of wood vertically
  • Place the other piece of wood horizontally on top of the first piece to form the letter 'T'

Step 3: Take a Seat

Sit on top of the horizontal piece of wood.

The beauty of this camp chair is it engages the core and is active seating.
