Candy Crush - Easily Earn Power-Ups

Candy Crush is the social game juggernaut that took over the world just a few years ago!

Yes, that Candy Crush!

Well, on occasion, the game will throw up a challenge which allow you to earn power-ups. The power-ups give you advantages in the game. But some of those challenges, particularly the ones with the best rewards are quite difficult.

One such challenge is the challenge to collect several thousand candies of a specified color. You could play level after level after level following the path the game lays out in hopes of collecting 10,000 green candies within the allotted 45 hours, or you could just go back to a level that just hands out that color.

This is that plan.

Step 1: Play-Collect-Repeat

The easiest method to collect specific color candies is to go to level 1000! (Of course, this means you had to have already completed level 1000.)

Level 1000 requires you to collect 1000 blue, 1000 green and 1000 orange to complete the level. That means that there are over 1000 of each color available to be collected on that level alone!

Select level 1000, use all 30 moves to collect all the specific colors for the challenge, and if you lose, retry. If you beat level 1000, retry anyway!

Step 2: Try Again

In as few as two rounds at the level, you can collect the first stage reward.

Three more attempts can get you to the second stage rewards.

Five more from there, can potentially take you to the end and complete the challenge.

BUT if you have not yet found your way to level 1000 in the game, you can go back to level 1 and start there. It is easy to collect colors. It may take more time, but you are almost certainly able to collect 10,000 colors within 45 hours.

There you have it! A quick and easy way to earn power-ups in Candy Crush!

Level 251 FTW. Once you get all the meringues cleared, it takes hardly any effort to keep this level going. you can easily meet a 10,000 candy challenge in an hour or less.

That is the right idea, cestes1! There are dozens of levels where the goal is to collect colors, (126-129 are some of the earliest), but in my opinion, 1000 can rack them quicker than any others.
But, when I checked out your suggestion, level 251 was not a color match level for me, it was a clear the jellies. That begs the question... are all the levels the same for all players? So is level 1000 the same for me as everyone else?
I encourage thoughts on this!

I think he meant level 252. it's a time based level, and once you get in the groove, you can't really lose except if you want to. it's the perfect level for getting a specific number of candies.

Yes, DavidC500, I think you are right. I did just try 252 and it is a simple level to rack up the candies. Thank you for pointing that out.
