About: Alex Blechta is a young and enthusiastic graphic designer and photographer. Starting from such a young age he wants to learn and strive in his future dream of becoming a well-known graphic designer and or phot…

A nice and refreshing drink from cantaloupe. Drink it with Sprite for a bubbly drink or add some alcohol to it to spice it up. I hope you enjoy!

Step 1: Ingredients

1 cantaloupe, cut into large dice (about 4 cups)
3 cups cold water
2 teaspoons juice
2 teaspoons sugar

What I used:
Magic Bullet or blender
Large bowl
Fine sifter

Step 2: Remove Seeds

Remove the seeds from the cantaloup with a spoon and discard seeds.

Step 3: Cut Cantaloupe Then Dice

Remove the rind (skin) and then cut and then dice the cantaloupe.

Step 4: Fill Cantaloupe in Bullet or Blender

Place the diced cantaloup into your Magic Bullet or blender. Add 1 1/2 cups of the water along with the lime juice and the sugar.
Blend until smooth. (if you are using the Bullet as I was only do half of the cantaloupe you made and only 1 cup of water but the same amount of sugar and lime juice, then  do it again with the other half of the cantaloup and use the 1/2 of water, blend then mix both of them).

Step 5: Pour the Mixture

Pour the mixture into a sifter over a large bowl and use a spoon to push down the solids in the sifter to squeeze out the water, discard the solids.

Step 6: Add the Rest of the Water

Add the rest of the water to the mixture and stir, then taste and add more sugar if needed, stir again and pour into juice jug.
Then put it in the fridge for about an hour. Then pour over ice when done. for an added taste because the drink is not very strong add some Sprite, or alcohol.

sounds tasty, one point though, it's a strainer not a sifter

I have a pineapple laying around that's past it's prime. Seems like a good candidate to try this. Maybe It's too far past it's prime though... I might add some wodka to bump up the alcohol that is already forming :)

lol thats a good idea, but I hope that, that pineapple isn't too bad that you will get sick.
