Card Spokes

I wanted to have some summer fun and decided to put baseball cards in my bike spokes.

Step 1: What You Need

-1 or 2 baseball or playing cards
-Wooden Clothespins
-Bike

Step 2: Putting It All Together

Take your card and clothespin and put the card so that it is touching the spokes. I put two cards so it is louder. The cards will make you bike sound like a motorcycle.

Step 3: In the End

In the end, your cards will look like the picture. Make sure you don't use a Derek Jeter rookie card or anything like that.

I had trouble with the clothes pin popping off so I poked two holes in the card and zip tied them on

Bravo! This reminds me of my childhood. Fifty years ago we used discarded playing cards (we didn't know we were recycling or even upcycling) but sometimes we'd harvest the Jokers from new decks if not needed for card play. I shared this with my neighbor's little boys last year and they LOVED it. You can outfit a neighborhood with 1 deck and bag of clothespins.
