This is an instructables you will never forget. The card house fort will entertain your kids for hours. Your kids will never want to leave this fort because they are having to much fun. The materials you need for this project are

2 fluffy blankets ( optional )

2 sheets

6 mattresses

Step 1: Step 1

The first step in creating the card house fort is laying the 2 fluffy blankets next to each other. This is only to provide some more comfort than laying on the hard floor. If you don't care if it is comfortable you can skip this step. You have just completed the first step in making a fort your kids will never forget.

Step 2: Step 2

Hear comes the fun part. Now drag over the 2 of the mattresses. Make them standing on the skinny end and then slowly tilt the mattresses till the edges meet. Just like when you build a house of cards. Repeat this step but leave a little space in between so your kids can hide in it. You want these to be pretty sturdy or else it will collapse when you put on the top. The hardest part of the fort is done. You are getting closer in completing your fort.

Step 3: Step 3

Now you are almost finished in making the fort. Bring over the last 2 mattresses and lift them up and place them on the top. Lay the mattresses next to each other the long way. Try and make them as close as possible to make darker. DO NOT LAY ON THE TOP OR ELSE THE WHOLE FORT WILL COLLAPSE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO REDO IT. Now all the heavy lifting is done.

Step 4: Step 4

Finally the last step. All you have to do for this step is put the sheets under the top mattresse so it will not fall down. Do this to the other end.

Step 5: Finished Look

This is how your fort should look at the end. The hardest part will be getting your kids out of the one of a kind fort. Your kids will have hours upon hours of laughter and fun playiong in this card house fort . :)
