Introduction: CardBoard the Hero (Solar Powered)

CardBoard The Hero is a robot controlled by an Android phone via an app called "Remote XY". CardBoard will move its head, hands and turn LEDs on from the eyes.

Step 1: What You Will Need:

  • Arduino Uno
  • Mini Breadboard
  • 3x Servos
  • 2x LED
  • HC-06 Bluetooth Module
  • 680 Resistors
  • Battery at least 5v / 1a
  • Scissors
  • Cardboard

Step 2: Cut Out the Cardboard

HEAD

Cut out the cardboard for the head by 7cm on each side

BODY

Cut out the cardboard for the body by 5cm on each side and also cut out one 3 holes to glue on the servos

ARMS

Cut out the cardboard for the arms by 2cm Length and 5cm Width

Step 3: Glue in the Cardboard and the Servos Together

Use a hot glue gun to glue on the sides of the cardboard and glue in the 3 servos in the body which we'd cut out earlier on.

Step 4: Wiring & Coding

Please look at the diagram and wire altogether and upload the code

Step 5: Well Done! You Have Finished Making Your "CardBoard the Hero"

As you can see the third box under the body is where all my electronics parts are and glued. This is to make my robot neater and without looking messier with the wiring. You don't have to do this but if you are like me then you are welcome to do this. Moreover, I have powered the robot with an "Rechargeable Solar Emergency Bank".

I also added an elastic for clothes on the head which I can hold and move the robot without moving and breaking the arms or the head.

Thanks for coming to Instructable and don't forget to vote, love and comment.
