Introduction: Cardboard Boat Regatta
Materials:
- Cardboard
- 5 rolls of Duct Tape (Red, White, Black, SIlver)
- 2 bottles of Elmer's glue
- Clamps
- Tape measure
- Box cutter
Step 1: Gluing Process
The stone is on the cardboard because I used Elmer's glue to put two pieces of cardboard together strengthen it, and the stone pushes the cardboard pieces together.
Step 2: Taping the Frame
These images shows how I taped the walls of the boat, to keep the boat waterproof so it can float.
Step 3: Shaping the Boat
In these images I am shaping the boat with tape so it can stay afloat. I also added a hood to the boat for the theme of my boat.
Step 4: Taping Pt. 2
These images are showing the final layers of the taping process. I also added a windshield for my theme which is SpongeBob.
Step 5: Final Design
These images show what the boat will look like with all of it's designs and shapes. I can also fit perfectly fit inside of the boat.
Step 6: Materials Used
These are the materials used they were all full when we started building the boat. Now that I am finished most of the materials are close to gone.
